Phillip Luna

Phillip Luna was interviewed on October 30, 2025, at his home in San Antonio, Texas. He spoke about performing in bands as a teenager, booking shows at Beauregard’s, and buying his first guitar at Texas Music. He shared memories of meeting Taco Land’s owner, Ram Ayala, and how their relationship grew into a close friendship and a weekly Monday-night gig that lasted five years. Although he briefly mentioned his current band, The Please Help, Phillip focused mainly on the broader San Antonio alternative music scene.
