Natasha Hernandez

Natasha Hernandez, also known as DJ Heavy Flow, was interviewed on December 16, 2025, at her home in San Antonio, Texas. She talked about how she started DJing even though she had no experience, but decided to try it anyway. Natasha cares a lot about community and bringing people together through the house parties she hosted before going to college. These parties helped her connect with others and grow into an amazing nurse. She remembers planning community events to support local residents at La Botanica. Natasha also talks about the bailes [dances] and her hope that people in San Antonio will start dancing more. You can see DJ Heavy Flow at different venues in San Antonio, like Volta and Slow Ride.
