Jason Longoria

Jason was interviewed on December 5, 2025, in the John Peace Library. He told his experience of learning about the history of San Antonio music and how he had become an enthusiastic researcher of the many types of music that have existed and evolved in San Antonio. He discussed his interest in and interactions with Doug Sahm and how research on Sahm’s musical influences led him to investigate many different aspects of San Antonio’s rich musical heritage.
