Austin Zettner

Austin was interviewed on October 10, 2025, at Bonds Rock Bar located at 450 Soledad just before it officially closed. Austin is a longtime guitarist in San Antonio’s music scene, primarily active in heavy metal and rock. He began performing at 16 at the White Rabbit (now Paper Tiger), entering a scene then dominated by Emo and Screamo bands. Over time, he moved through several sub‑scenes—from Screamo to Death Metal to tribute and cover bands—discovering how diverse and fragmented San Antonio’s music culture can be.
