Data exists everywhere and is available in a wide array of formats. Often, we are unwittingly engaged with data in the humanities and social sciences. This workshop will discuss the data you collect, including types of data, the data life cycle stages, and how you can organize them to prepare for further analysis in your research or projects.  It includes hands-on practice of organizing data in spreadsheets.
