In this workshop, we will discuss how to package the results of Python text analysis for presentation to wider audiences. Topics will include different formats for sharing tabular data, how to describe the text analysis process for different audiences, data essay design and planning, selection of data visualizations, and ethical and philosophical considerations in computational text analysis.

Presenter

Javier Ruedas is an Information Specialist at UTSA Libraries. Javier has extensive experience in programming and web development, and five years of experience as a web development instructor. He has a master's degree in information studies from UT Austin and a PhD in anthropology from Tulane University. He loves to demystify coding for nontechnical audiences.
